Qing Long Guardian Piece

Description

Qing Long (青龙) guards the East, where the sun rises. It carries Wood energy — spring, renewal and upward momentum. In Chinese tradition it is the most auspicious of the four celestial guardians: the companion of those building something new.

Each bead is finished in genuine Chinese lacquer (大漆), a living material harvested from lacquer trees and applied layer by layer, every layer cured for days before the next. More than a hundred days of artisanal patience go into a single piece — no two are exactly alike.
